Two reports of JAEGERS this week at the Lake Erie shore in the Town

the Niagara County Town of Porter, in the field at Youngstown-Wilson

of Route 77, a GREAT EGRET with a red leg band; from the Motor Island

September 22, a surprise in East Aurora, a CAROLINA WREN feeding two
recently fledged young. August 20 was the latest date for fledglings
in the 1988 New York State Breeding Bird Atlas.

Even with clear skies and record high temperatures, strong fall
migration reports this week. September 21 in a Williamsville yard, 10
warbler species with 5 YELLOW-B. SAPSUCKERS, EASTERN WOOD-PEWEE,
